How to log foods in Nutriely

Tap the + button in the middle of the bottom bar. From there you have a few ways to log a food.

  1. Search Your favorites and recent foods show up at the top of search, so the things you eat often are always one tap away. Press the plus button next to an item to add it with its default amount, or open it to choose the unit and quantity first.
  2. Take a photo Take a photo of a food package or a plate. Nutriely works out which one it is looking at. For a package it reads the label, maps it to ingredients and estimates the nutrients the label doesn't show. For a plate it gives you a rough starting point that you can adjust. Photos of plates are estimates, so use them when you don't know what is inside.
  3. Scan a barcode Barcode scanning lives in the same camera. We don't have every product, so it works best as a shortcut for re-adding products you have logged or created before.
  4. Re-use a meal Add a whole meal from your recent or favorite meals, or copy a meal from another day. Every food is added with the amounts you used last time.

Not sure how accurate you need to be? Don't overthink it. Log what you can, and remember that the bigger picture over weeks matters much more than any single day.
